Teddy please come to the shop as soon as you can.
Don't bring Nymphadora. Lois next door can watch her for a few hours.
Please hurry

I don't know how much longer everyone can be expected to endure all this.

This may be something of a long shot but does anyone here know a man named Caradoc Dearborn?
He came into my shop last week and made a purchase which needed a few repairs. We've fixed it, of course, and he was meant to pick it up on Monday. I've sent him three or so owls since then and each has been returned, unopened.
I haven't seen anything in the obitu news about him, but I do not know why an owl wouldn't find its intended recipient, even through spells and such.
I do know it's a long shot, but if anyone does know him could you please pass along that his purchase is ready?

I know that the Ministry is flooded daily with reports of Death Eater sightings, and that ninety-five percent of them end up being either false, misinformed, or too late to do any good. I shouldn't expect mine to go to the top of any pile.
However, I should be believed when I say I've seen my sister and want to report it. I actually do know what she looks like and I actually do know it was her.

This vanishing cabinet was a complete waste of money, I'm sad to say.

Can anyone recommend a good, safe, nondestructive pet an eight year old girl might enjoy? She is a bit on the rambunctious side so I would prefer a calmer pet, if you know what I mean.

Ted and I have taken in three estate sales worth of 'new' merchandise in the store in the last two weeks. I'm not really sure what to do with it all, really
I will offer this, however; while we're sorting our way through it all if anyone here would like us to earmark anything for them, please let me know.
For example, I remember once here that Gideon Prewett, you were interested in old cameras. Is that still true?

I am finding myself in a bit of a pickle. Ted's mother's birthday is next week, and there is going to be a big party, which is wonderful. However, it will be a Muggle party, and while the his parents, of course, know about us most of the guests will not be familiar with magical things. This would not be a problem save for the fact that Nymphadora has a difficult time, ah, blending in with Muggles. For anyone here who does not know her, she is a metamorphmagus. She is also eight, and prone to sudden changes of hair colour or even facial structure. Hence my dilemma.

Well, that hasn't happened in a while. I was mistaken for my sister today when I was at Gringotts taking care of some deposits. My sister Bellatrix, of course; I've never been mistaken for Narcissa in my life.
The man was surprisingly polite about it when he realized his mistake; he clearly would rather have been talking to Bella but when he realized I wasn't her he didn't take off running or secretly try to hex me like many of her friends might have done.
Sometimes I forget how much we look alike; when we were young we'd be mistaken for twins, but now...well, as I said before, the mistake hasn't been made in years. I do sometimes wonder how she's doing.

It seems a number of you on these journals knew one of the young men who was killed on Tuesday night. For my part I'd like to apologize for any role my cousin Evan may have had in his death. I know it's a hollow statement but I feel it's one that needs to be made. In fact, there are many things my family may or may not have been responsible for for which I feel I should apologize. I wish this were not the case, but I fear it is. I am sorry.

My cousin, Evan Rosier, was killed last night.
Apparently he was trying to set up potions that were going to explode and kill people today, but was stopped before that could happen.
Some family.

I suppose the first thing I ought to do is introduce myself, then. I don't know how many people I know who will be writing this, but since my cousin Sirius Black gave it to me I'd imagine everyone at least knows him, don't they?
Either way, an introduction is still in order. My name is Andromeda Tonks, and I'm married to my dear Ted. We've got our lovely daughter Nymphadora, and we run The Time Turner together.
And yes, I am--or rather was--a Black. I know the reputation that name and my family carries, so there is no need to step on eggshells about that on my account.
I'd say more, but I wish first to know whom I am saying more to.
